Not your average boxing gym, Downtown Boxing Gym Youth Program (DBG) is a free, after-school academic and athletic program serving Detroit students ages 8-18. They focus on books before boxing and have a 100% high school graduation rate since they opened their doors in 2007. By providing mentorship, tutoring, and basic needs support (transportation and food) for our students, we are able to create a lasting impact that ripples out across the community.
